Our grandfather brought his family to California just in time for the 1963 harvest. Fifty years later, we released our first Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Hand harvested at 3.5 tons per acre on October 21 & 26, 2011 in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District on the Silverado Trail. Aged eighteen months in new French oak and two year old neutral oak barrels. Rich layers of cedar, spice, cherry and raspberry with delicate vanilla bean and toasty oak on the finish. A decade or more of bottle aging will add to the richness and complexity. Enjoy with beef, lamb, hearty stews and aged hard cheeses.
167 cases of 6 pack bottles were produced. Released November 15, 2013
